The Role of the CEA

The Role of the CEA

The Center for Education Assessment provides an opportunity to better use facts in order to make education improvement decisions. This can be accomplished at an overall cost savings to schools and institutions of higher education. Savings are realized by reducing expenses for things like outside vendor services and making more effective use of existing internal resources.

For those schools and universities wishing to be more effective in earning public support, the CEA provides data and reports that can be used to show positive performance. The CEA does this by assisting with the internal implementation of education information systems that can be used to address public concerns. These information systems increase the amount of relevant, factual information available to teacher educators, teachers, policymakers, and the public.

The Center offers educators a combination of information technology, data management, quantitative analysis, and resource management experience that supports education program improvement.
